Botox® and Nuceiva are two brands of neuromodulator (muscle relaxant) prescription medicines comprised of a purified protein which blocks the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscle, thereby limiting muscle activity.
During treatment, very small doses of Botox® Cosmetic or Nuceiva are administered to targeted facial muscles via a fine needle. The treatment only takes approximately 10 minutes, and no recovery time is required. You can continue with your daily routine. You will see an improvement within a few days, and your results will last 3 to 4 months.
We use genuine Botox® Cosmetic or Nuceiva with every injection and never substitute with cheaper alternative product. During your consultation, Dr. Cooze will discuss the differences between both products and you will have your choice of either Botox® Cosmetic or Nuceiva as your treatment solution.
